Day In The Life
A Trend of Content but Why?
I increasingly see more and more people from far and wide with small influence or large partake in sharing a day in their life. Why is it that people watch. What value draws us into watching someone else’s day. Is it experience life through them and their more extravagant and theatrical portrayal of their day-day. A life that they wish they could live but don’t.
Perhaps it is because people see beauty in the the mundane of someone else’s life. That it is easier to find comfort in the simple things that can only be observed and not when you're caught up in living your own life.Understanding and appreciating each even monotonous thing as art. Inspiring them to live the same way or to see the small experiences and habits that make up a person. It helps you feel connected to that person as if they were sharing their secrets and entire life with you in the form of an online diary.
Whatever it may be I find it to be positive. It is a way of not only gaining perspective on different people living their own lives but also an opportunity to document your own life and see how it changes over the years.
